Ever since Kim Gary debuted in Penang, it has been attracting an endless throng of regular customers. Although I am not one, I decided to join the crowd and find out what it has to offer.
Getting a seat can be a problem during lunch hours. The place is quite crowded and is not suitable for a peaceful meal.
We ordered 3 dishes in total: Szechuan-Style Chicken Soup Noodles, Shanghai-Style Beef Soup Noodles, and Nissin Noodles With Fried Egg And Luncheon Meat.
Personally, I don’t feel that any of those noodle dishes are that impressive. However, I do acknowledge that the food portions are pretty reasonable for the price point.
We also ordered a serving of Peanut Butter Fresh Toast. It is quite fresh and fragrant, since it just came out of the oven. The peanut butter is unnecessary as it covers the original taste of the pastry.
For drinks, we ordered Hong Kong-Style Ying Yong Tea, which is just mediocre.
