Kedai Kopi Sin Hwa is now being operated by the third generation. Although the shop had used charcoal for cooking in the past, Kedai Kopi Sin Hwa has switched to cooking gas to keep up with the times.
I ordered a large serving of char koay teow (炒粿条) for RM5.50. The stir-fried noodle dish contains seafood like prawns, cockles and squids. Also included are savory Chinese sausages (腊肠).
The char koay teow at Kedai Kopi Sin Hwa is reasonably good thanks to its fiery aroma (镬气). I am also glad that the dish is not too greasy. However, I feel the texture is slightly dry. Perhaps I should request for duck eggs next time.
