Fried Fish (炒鱼) is the restaurant’s signature dish. The choice of fish is shark. The dish is cooked with a savory gravy made of fermented bean paste (豆酱). I cannot recommend this dish highly enough.
Next, Stir-Fried Squids (炒鱿鱼) are cooked with shallots, scallions and dried chili peppers. The thick sauce has a nice sweetness that complements the springy texture of squids.
Water Spinach With Chili (马来风光) is based on a local dish in Malay cuisine. The dish has a fiery flavor thanks to presence of spicy shrimp paste.
