Kea Farm Market

This article is part of my 2019 Cameron Highlands trip series.

Kea Farm Market is a vegetable market within walking distance of Copthorne Cameron Highlands. Unlike the night market near Brinchang, Kea Farm Market operates every day.

Kea Farm Market is renowned for fresh produce like vegetables and fruits. The prices here are very cheap by city standards; 7 small packs of vegetables are sold for RM10.00 only!

Sweet potatoes come in 3 different varieties. Some stalls also sell steamed ones that you can eat on the spot. Be sure to check out sweet corn too. The more expensive ones are so sweet that they can be eaten raw!

Other great bargains are strawberries, grapes, mangoes, durians (seasonal) and the exotic ice plant. We also quenched our thirst with strawberry-flavored popsicles.

Most stalls open in the morning and wind down around early evening. If you are staying at Cameron Highlands for several days, it is advisable to purchase groceries on the day you leave. Arrive early because some items like strawberries are sold out early in the day.
