Ever since I Mum Mum (板面专卖店) moved to the Golden Triangle at Relau, its former premises at One Precinct has been replaced with Uncle Lim’s Recipe.

This new eatery is open for lunch and dinner. It serves several types of rice and noodles dishes at somewhat affordable prices.

For example, the Braised Pork Rice (卤肉饭, RM6.90) comes in a reasonably large portion. This meal includes a glass of drink, which turns out to be Luo Han Guo (罗汉果) today.

The Braised Pork Rice includes decent amount of succulent pork belly, stewed bean curd and boiled egg with chili paste. Overall, I think this rice dish is quite well-flavored.

I also ordered Loh Bak (卤肉, RM4.00) as a side dish. The order comes in two pieces. Inside the bean curd skin are delectable pork slices. Sweet chili sauce is provided on the side.

Despite the limited menu, I think Uncle Lim’s Recipe is a reasonable place to go for affordable meals. The price is quite affordable in comparison to the serving portion.
