Once again, we find ourselves at Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort. Our focus today is on the festive buffet, which is set to run from March 12th to April 7th, 2024, coinciding with the sacred month of Ramadan. The buffet will be held in both indoors and outdoors, taking advantage of the picturesque greenery that sets the resort apart from other hotels.

What a wondrous dining environment it is to enjoy a meal by the poolside, with panoramic views that stretch out to the expansive, verdant golf course.

Highlights of Selera Kampung Buffet

The buffet theme “Selera Kampungku” translates to “My Village Flavors”. The menu promises a delicious journey down the memory lane. Savoring these comforting flavors surrounded by an inviting outdoor ambiance is a great way to celebrate the spirit of togetherness this Ramadan.

With a rotating daily menu featuring over 188 tempting dishes, “Selera Kampungku” offers something to please every palate.

Ikan Patin Tempoyak

Ikan Patin Tempoyak is a classic Malay dish featuring freshwater catfish bathed in rich and sour gravy made from fermented durians.

Sotong Sumbat Masak Lemak

Sotong Sumbat Masak Lemak features tender squid stuffed with squid roe, and simmered in a creamy and flavorful coconut gravy. This Ramadan favorite is wildly popular, so be quick to get a portion before it is gone!

Rendang Daging Tok

Chef Hanif’s signature dish, Rendang Daging Tok, is a must-try. This flavorful rendang boasts succulent pieces of beef slow-cooked to perfection in a rich and aromatic gravy, infused with Chef Hanif’s special blend of spices.

Ayam Panggang Percik Kelantan

Ayam Panggang Percik Kelantan is a dish of grilled chicken bathed in fragrant and mildly spicy coconut gravy. This poultry dish is a specialty of Kelantanese cuisine.

Kari Kepala Ikan Jenahak Tomato Bendi

Kari Kepala Ikan Jenahak Tomato Bendi is a hearty and flavorful curry with a rich and aromatic gravy. Also included are tender fish head, tomatoes and lady’s fingers.

BBQ Whole Lamb with Biryani

The undisputed star of the show is the BBQ Whole Lamb with Biryani.
