Palm Garden Hotel Putrajaya has officially announced the return of its signature culinary event, “Gerbang Selera Ramadan“. Running from 19 February 2026 to 19 March 2026, the hotel is transforming its grand event spaces (which includes Rafflesia, Adenium and Begonia) into an enchanting festive landscape.

Diners can expect to break their fast under elegant marquee tents decorated with fairy lights, accompanied by the traditional sounds of live Ghazal performances.

A Vibrant Live Bazaar Under the Stars

The culinary lineup this year focuses on heritage flavors. The numerous live action stalls here recreate a vibrant bazaar feel.

Leading the menu is the Ramadan essential—Gulai Kawah. These rich gravies are cooked in and served from large woks, creating an authentic communal feel.

Among these “kawah” specialties is the Fish Curry, prepared with a traditional blend of spices that delivers deep, savory flavors.

Gulai Lemak Udang Nenas is perfect for those seeking tropical tanginess. The coconut-based gravy is balanced by the sweetness of pineapples, creating the ideal flavor canvas for the succulent prawns.

Not to forget the rich and aromatic Lamb Kuzi. The dish is simmered slowly until the mutton becomes tender.

Meanwhile, Sup Tulang is a hearty bone broth packed with deep, savory notes. The soup serves as a classic starter for any iftar.

As always, the Kambing Golek remains the primary attraction. The whole roasted lamb comes with a variety of traditional condiments.

Also hot from the grillers are classic favorites like Ayam Percik, Lamb Tandoori and Portuguese-Style Ikan Bakar.

For diners who crave street food, the satay stall serves up smoky skewers of chicken and beef.

Satay is typically served with kuah kacang, nasi impit, onions and cucumber.

To capture the true essence of the festive season, the “Shawal” section provides traditional essentials like Bubur Lambuk, Ketupat and Lemang.

Rendang Daging
Sayur Lodeh

Meanwhile, the “Mamak” corner offers Char Kuay Teow and Mee Mamak—served piping hot from the wok!

For those craving kampung-style snacks, the buffet offers a nostalgic selection of treats including Cucur Sayur and Keropok Lekor.

The spread also features traditional favorites like Dodol and Kuih Raya, capturing the festive spirit of the season.

To keep the little ones happy, the ever-popular popcorn station is another star attraction!

Air Batu Campur

Air Balang is quintessential in the night market scene. There are so many iced drinks to quench your thirst throughout the feast.
