Elegance, fashion, and philanthropy unite for a meaningful cause at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown! In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is hosting a charitable event titled “A Celebration of Pink Charity” on 10 October 2026.
Held at Midtown Brasserie, the event offers a refined afternoon tea experience accompanied by a fashion runway show featuring renowned designer Yani Bakhtiar. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the PPUM B40 Diagnostic Fund for Breast Cancer, helping provide vital healthcare to underprivileged individuals.
Even if you are unable to join the one-day event, you can still enjoy the Pink Afternoon Tea every weekend throughout October. Served at Midtown Lounge, the afternoon tea set includes a refined selection of pink-themed pastries and savory creations.
The afternoon tea experience begins with a welcome drink: Pink Blossom, a fizzy beverage crafted with strawberry syrup and carbonated water.
For starters, enjoy petite tartlets topped with a mixture of crab meat, tomato, and chives.
Also featured are golden cheese croquettes topped with beef bresaola.
Served alongside are cured salmon sandwiches with beetroot, cream cheese, and fresh dill.
In addition, prawn rolls are served on soft brioche and topped with onions and tobiko.
The raspberry rose brioche is freshly baked from the oven, filling the air with a soothing aroma.
The cranberry scones pair well with clotted cream, strawberry jam, and mandarin marmalade.
Served on a bed of white chocolate pearls, the pink madeleines are coated in honey and ruby chocolate.
Meanwhile, the panna cotta is infused with macerated strawberries and kaffir lime.
The sweet finale is a dessert trio: a cherry pistachio choux filled with pistachio mousseline and cherry confit, a jasmine cheesecake layered with peach compote and cream cheese mousse, and a raspberry tart made with almond frangipane and mascarpone Chantilly cream.
As for beverages, the Pink Afternoon Tea includes a choice of English tea or espresso coffee.
Also in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel’s Cake of the Month is dressed in vibrant pink.
Nicknamed Blush, the cake combines pink guava, strawberry, coconut, almond, and pistachio for a refreshing fruitiness.
Blush is available for purchase at Midtown Lounge throughout the month of October.
