The CBTL outlet in Queensbay Mall is near the south wing entrance. It’s quite a cozy cafe with nice sofas and coffee tables. The staff here is friendly too. The only complain is the slow Wi-Fi, but I guess this applies for nearly all public hotspots.
Today, I ordered Ultimate Mocha Ice Blended (RM15.30). “Ultimate” means that espresso coffee beans have been blended into the drink. It seems that I almost always select from the ice blended menu only. In such a hot tropical weather, I can’t bear to drink a hot cup of coffee!
As usual, the ice blended coffee is more meant for its sweet taste than the caffeine. But my intention was to satisfy my sweet tooth anyway.
In addition, I ordered a slice of Chocolate Fudge Cake (RM8.90). The chocolate is very rich, perhaps even slightly bitter. However, I always appreciate the bitterness of chocolate anyway.
