Little Cottage Cafe is a Western restaurant at Burmah Road (Jalan Burma). This is my first visit to the restaurant since the fire in October 2013.
The restaurant has been totally refurbished since the fire. The cottage-style ambience gives the place a homely feeling. This is a stark difference from the bustling Burmah Road several steps away.
Little Cottage Cafe serve 5-course set lunch. Customers can choose from a menu of main dishes with prices from RM9.90 to RM19.90. The set meal comes with soup, bread roll, dessert and drink.
My choice of main dish is Monte Cristo Chicken (RM19.90). The chicken chop comes with bacon and brown gravy. Mashed potato and steamed vegetables are served on the side.
Today’s meal is truly sumptuous thanks to superb cooking on the chef’s part. I am also impressed by the friendly waiting staff here.
