Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop (正斗粥面专家) has been getting lots of attention since its opening. The restaurant originated in Hong Kong where it was awarded one Michelin star.
Located at Level 5 of Gurney Paragon, the restaurant has a nice view of the sea in front. The dining area is reasonably spacious and comfortable.
The restaurant is famous for its House Specialty Wantun Noodle (正斗鲜虾云吞面, RM15.80). The soup is prepared by simmering pork bones, flounder (大地鱼) and shrimp roe (虾籽) for several hours. As a result, the soup is rich and tasty to the last drop.
The House Specialty Wantun Noodle is served with springy egg noodles and 3 pieces of wantan. The dumplings are filled with succulent shrimps and pork, making them simply irresistible.
