This year, Dorsett Putrajaya presents a unique Ramadan buffet experience with a special theme: Cita Rasa Sajian Malam: Rasa & Riadah. Dinner is served at Citra Rasa, the hotel’s primary restaurant on Level 3. Blending traditional and modern flavors, this buffet promises a diverse array of dishes designed to tantalize one’s taste buds.

Bakar-Bakar

This section is undoubtedly most popular this evening. Indulge in succulent Kambing Golek, expertly marinated and cooked over burning charcoal. Enhance the taste of succulent meat with black pepper, mushroom, BBQ, rosemary and mint sauces. For diners who prefer Asian flavors, go for Thai, chili or tomato sauces.

For seafood lovers, savor marine delicacies like stingray, udang galah (river prawns), squids and cockles.

Grilled fish can be prepared in either local or Portuguese style. As for dipping sauces, popular choices are air asam, cili kicap, sambal and percik sauce. Each sauce adds a unique touch to the seafood.

Chef Apoi’s Nasi Kandar

Dorsett Putrajaya introduces “DPJ New Taste and Trend”, a culinary experience featuring Chef Apoi’s Nasi Kandar.

Savor aromatic Lamb Briyani Rice with delectable side dishes like Ayam Madu (honey chicken), Ayam Goreng Berempah (spiced fried chicken) and Sotong Goreng Kunyit (turmeric fried squid).

Other signature dishes include Kari Kepala Ikan Merah (red snapper fish head curry), Daging Masak Hitam (beef in sweet-spicy dark sauce) and Udang Masak Diraja (spicy prawns in coconut milk).

Completing the Nasi Kandar meal are Sayur Campur (mixed vegetables) and Telor Masin (salted eggs).

Goreng-Goreng

Another crowd favorite is the “Goreng-Goreng” station. Today’s menu features Udang Goreng, Ayam Goreng and Burung Puyuh Goreng.

Satay Station

Succulent skewers of chicken and beef are grilled over burning charcoal to give a coating of smokiness. Satay is typically enjoyed with sweet peanut sauce, cucumbers, onions and nasi impit.

Otak-Otak Daun Nipah is nice choice too. The leaves contain spicy fish paste.

Fried Noodles

A beloved bazaar staple, Fried Kway Teow Kerang introduces the flavors of street food to this iftar buffet.

Warung Apam Balik Viral

This is another classic snack in Ramadan bazaars. Apam Balik fillings are sweet corn, red beans, chocolate, cheese or any combination to one’s liking.

Roti John

Roti John is filled with grilled chicken or beef, fried egg, melted cheese and coleslaw.

Aneka Cucur

This section specializes in deep-fried snacks like Cempedak Goreng (fried jackfruit), Pisang Goreng (banana fritters), Kodok Pisang (banana balls), Keropok Lekor (fish crackers) and Karipap (curry puffs).
