This Merdeka season, head over to The FIX Lounge @ ibis Styles Sepang KLIA to savor the Sixty-Eat Set-Lunch, a culinary tribute to Malaysia’s diverse culinary heritage.
For just RM 68+, guests can select one of three main courses accompanied by a starter (soup or salad), a signature dessert (Onde-Onde Cake) and a refreshing beverage (Iced Minty Lychee).
Main Course Highlights
The FIX Lamb Shank is the hotel’s signature dish. The 8-hour braised lamb yields irresistibly tender, gelatin-rich meat that collapses at the touch of a fork. Served on the side are mashed potatoes and crisp-tender macedoine vegetables. Savory lamb jus ties all elements together.
Should you prefer poultry, the Panko-Crusted Chicken Breast combines Malaysia’s love for chicken with the Japanese breading technique. The golden crispy crust gives way to the succulent meat inside. Side items are creamy mushroom ragout and sautéed French beans. The trio complement one another harmoniously.
The classic Fish & Chips dish is a surefire hit with kids and seafood lovers alike. Tender fish is encased in batter and fried to golden perfection. A squeeze of lemon cuts through the fritters, adding a zesty lift that enhances every bite. As per tradition, tartar sauce is provided.
Accompaniments
Each set meal comes with a choice of soup or salad. Today’s Mushroom Soup comes with a couple of baguette slices.
The Onde-Onde Cake is a modern tribute to the traditional Nyonya kuih, blending pandan-flavored sponge cake with gula melaka. This sweet creation honors our cultural heritage while adding a contemporary touch.
Last but not least, cleanse your palate with a cooling glass of Iced Minty Lychee!
Other notable beverages on the à la carte menu are The FIX Milkshake and Palm Cooler. The former comprises of cookie crumbs, chocolate chips and ice cream, while the latter is blended from bananas, strawberries and yogurt.
