As the doors of Ee Chinese Restaurant close on a cherished chapter, a new vision takes shape at Petaling Jaya Marriott Hotel. The restaurant soon enters a complete transformation, paving the way for a fresh Chinese dining concept set to open in mid-December 2026.

Before the end of this chapter, guests can revisit signature specialties that have made the restaurant popular for several decades. To mark the occasion tonight, the culinary team presents a special eight-course dinner menu highlighting premium ingredients and classic Chinese culinary styles.

The Deep-Fried Abalone Puff (脆皮鲍鱼酥) features a buttery, flaky pastry shell that contrasts with the whole abalone inside. Rich and tender, the braised abalone brings deep umami notes to every bite.

The Crystal Prawn Dumpling with Asparagus (翡翠芦笋饺皇) offers a fresh counterpoint with its delicate, translucent skin. Wrapped inside are sweet prawns and asparagus for a clean, satisfying bite.

Next, the Double-Boiled Village Chicken Soup (清炖干贝海参菜园鸡汤) brings comforting, savory depth to the feast. Slow-simmered free-range chicken releases its natural sweetness, while dried scallops and sea cucumber add a gentle brininess to the broth.

The next course presents a seafood duo: Steamed Dragon Sea Grouper with Superior Soy Sauce (自制头抽蒸龙虎斑) and Steamed Tiger Prawns with Vermicelli & Golden Garlic (金银蒜粉丝蒸虎虾). Superior soy sauce brings out the fish’s natural sweetness, while the prawns, served over glass noodles, are infused with an aromatic garlic flavor.

We continue with another complementary pairing: Roasted Irish Silver Hill Duck (明炉爱尔兰烧鸭) and Braised Homemade Bean Curd with Broccoli (蚝皇三层楼). The duck features crisp skin and tender meat with subtle spices. Glossed in a savory oyster sauce, the egg tofu brings a comforting finish to the plate.

Following that is a soothing dish: Steamed Vermicelli with Scallop in Egg White Broth (蛋白蒸带子面线). The warm, light broth forms a gentle base for the large scallop and vermicelli.

Chilled Mango Purée with Popping Pearls (爆珠杨枝甘露) rounds out the evening. The sweet purée contains fruit pearls that release bright tropical flavor.

The Baked Signature Egg Tart (招牌蛋挞) follows a time-honored recipe from Hong Kong. The puff pastry is folded by hand and filled with rich egg custard. Baked to a golden finish, the tart features a light, flaky crust that crumbles with every bite.

The Lunar Tier Mooncake Collection features an auspicious red tiered box filled with four traditional baked mooncakes of your choice.
