This small cafe at Krystal Point was so well-hidden that I almost overlooked it. It seems as if the proprietor deliberately cast an invisibility spell to avoid public attention.
Firstly, the owner must be quite indecisive. On the homepage, he calls his cafe “Ming Marbelous Cafe”, but the store front says “Ming Marvelous Cafe”. Go figure.
The owner-cum-chef-cum-server recommended that the two of us order in à la carte (煮炒) style. Per his recommendations, we ordered a plate of Braised Chicken With Onions (RM7.00), Yellow Curry Chicken (RM7.00), and Sweet & Sour Pork (RM6.00). Rice is complementary, but we included a Fried Egg (RM0.50) each.
I think the cooking is pretty normal, but at least his service is fast (since we were the only customer for the entire duration) and the owner was quite friendly to chat with us (same reason above).
I think Ming’s Marvelous Cafe is a “back-up” option in case there is nowhere else to go. But I am not sure how long its business can sustain if the owner does not lift the invisibility spell.
