Today, we had the pleasure of trying out the Roasted Lamb Leg package from Furama Bukit Bintang’s Christmas & New Year: Delivery & Takeaway! This package, designed to serve 8 people, is now available for purchase (until January 2, 2024) with a pre-order requirement of two days in advance.

Roasted Lamb Leg with Black Pepper Sauce
The roasted lamb leg is quite substantial, weighing approximately 2.5 kg – more than enough for 8 adults; if the gathering leans towards more females, there might be plenty of lamb left! The Sauteed Mixed Vegetables include cauliflower, broccoli, etc., mainly sautéed with butter to add a flavorful touch without being too greasy.
The chef made several cuts around the lamb leg, inserted garlic cloves, and roasted it with rosemary. The perfectly roasted lamb leg has a slight pink hue – juicy and tender! The garlic cloves have a delightful texture, reminiscent of chestnuts!
Paired with the lamb leg, the Black Pepper Sauce is rich and filled with visible black pepper granules! The peppery flavor is quite intense but complements the lamb leg perfectly!
Additionally, there’s a Garden Salad: with fresh black olives, onions, and various lettuces, it’s crisp and refreshing! The onions, treated to remove their spiciness, and the citrus-based dressing make the salad appetizing and light!
Mushroom Soup and Garlic Bread
The Mushroom Soup is a homemade gem – intensely flavorful with many finely chopped mushroom morsels.
The Garlic Bread is a perfect accompaniment! It’s recommended to dip the bread in the mushroom soup – the garlic butter-infused bread, soaked in mushroom soup, adds another layer of flavor!
Last but not least, the Christmas Yule Log Cake! Besides Lamb Leg, another highlight of the package is a Yule Log Cake that would easily cost over a hundred if sold separately! The sweetness of the cake is just right – what stands out is the perfectly balanced chocolate flavor! The layers of cake and chocolate cream intertwine, creating a delightful texture.
