Also recommended for starters is a bowl of Sup Gearbox Kambing Berempah, a reinterpretation of the traditional beef recipe.
The rich and flavorful broth is best paired with thick slices of Roti Benggali.
After savoring these starters, it is time to move on to mains dishes that are designed to whet your appetite.
Kambing Golek
The brightest star of the show is Kambing Golek, which boasts tender meat with a crispy, marinated crust. Accompanying this flavorful lamb are a variety of sauces like Black Pepper Sauce, Mint Sauce and Mushroom Sauce. However, we highly recommend Percik Sauce for its fiery kick. You can’t go wrong with this!
Rendang Wagyu Kawah
Using Wagyu beef for rendang is a rare treat! Infused with flavorful spices, the beef is exceptionally tender and marbled. The Rendang Wagyu Kawah is a truly luxurious culinary experience!
Ketupat Palas (pressed rice wrapped in palm leaves) and Lemang Buluh (rice cooked in hollowed bamboo tubes) are the perfect companions for rendang. You may also add Serunding (meat floss) for extra savoriness.
Hainanese Chicken Rice
The heart and soul of Hainanese Chicken Rice lies in the oily rice. As the rice simmers, it absorbs the aromatic essence of ginger, garlic and scallions.
