A Malacca institution since 1933. Indulge in their iconic taro rice and meat slice soup for an authentic taste of Malacca.

From here, we can start exploring the historic Malacca city on foot! The attractions are very close together, and the cool morning weather is perfect for a leisurely stroll with the whole family.

According to legend, the Ming Dynasty navigator Zheng He once stationed here. Today, we can visit the Poh San Teng Temple, the Well of Perigi Raja and World War 2 Japanese Resistance Memorial.

We bought some chicken floss bean paste puffs and various fragrant biscuits as souvenirs. They’re handmade, delicious, and unique – definitely worth trying!

Overall, Melaka is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. Don’t rush to check off all the tourist spots. Just wander around and explore. You’ll be surprised by the hidden gems you’ll find in every alleyway and old building. Come to Melaka and embark on a spontaneous slow-paced journey!
