Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre hosts a media appreciation lunch today to welcome the Year of the Snake. This commemorates the hotel’s second Chinese New Year celebration since its opening.

The air crackles with excitement as the event begins with the customary tossing of yee sang. This is followed by a spectacular lion dance performance.

Sichuan Kitchen

Four Points KLCC invites guests to experience authentic Sichuan cuisine this Chinese New Year. Several festive menus are offered at Sichuan Kitchen, the hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant on Level 1.

Sichuan Kitchen is renowned for its hot pot, especially the fiery Sichuan mala soup. The restaurant also has several private dining rooms for customers who prefer to dine in a more intimate setting.

Prosperity Hot Pot Set Menu

The Prosperity Hot Pot Set Menu will be offered daily from January 1, 2025, to February 12, 2025. Guests may select two soup bases from a choice of five.

There are two hot pot menus to choose from: Signature and Premium. Both menus feature an exquisite selection of marine delicacies such as grouper, tiger prawns, slipper lobsters and scallops. The seafood items here are incredibly fresh. We love them very much!

Reunion Hot Pot Dinner Buffet

For an all-you-can-eat hot pot experience, the Reunion Hot Pot Dinner Buffet is available on selected evenings. This buffet includes a yee sang platter per table and one braised 10-head abalone for each diner.

Visit the buffet counter to select your preferred hot pot ingredients. Be sure to try the barramundi and tiger prawns – they are always a hit!

Other marine delicacies include baby octopuses, mussels, clams, scallops, slipper lobsters, mud crabs and snow crab legs. Guests can also savor three homemade pastes: fish, shrimp and squid.

Meat lovers can enjoy succulent Angus beef and striploin, as well as tender lamb shoulder and leg.

Sliced chicken is available in original and spicy flavors. Each bite is bursting with authentic chicken flavor and complemented by subtle sweetness.

The buffet counter also features a dazzling selection of hot pot ingredients including beef balls, fish cake, crab sticks, seafood tofu and bean curd ring rolls.

Fresh mushroom varieties offered include king oyster, shiitake, shimeji and enoki. In addition, several types of noodles are also available.

Remember to complement your hot pot with fresh greens. These leafy vegetables provide a refreshing counterpoint to the richer flavors of other ingredients.

Personalize your hot pot experience with a wide array of condiments. There are over a dozen sauces to mix abd match. Check out our article here to discover the best combination!

The buffet includes Sichuan-style cold appetizers. In particular, we love the Chicken in Spicy Sauce (口水鸡) and Cold Marinated Tofu Skin (凉拌豆皮).

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the desserts station features osmanthus jelly alongside mochi with different fillings.

Among the chilled desserts are Sichuan ice jelly, mango sago and herbal jelly. Sichuan ice jelly is best enjoyed with condiments like Chinese dates and haw flakes.
