For Ramadan 2025, the buffet theme at Dorsett Grand Subang is “Aroma Nusantara“. As the name implies, the menu takes diners on a culinary journey through the Malay Archipelago.

Like previous years, the buffet dinner is served at Melati Floor (mezzanine level). The buffet spread covers both indoor and outdoor sections.

Let’s begin our gastronomic journey with the outdoor section, where food is served through “gerai-gerai” (food stalls) in a bazaar-like atmosphere.

Kambing Panggang

The whole lamb is marinated with a special blend of spices and roasted to golden perfection.

A special highlight this year is Ikan Kukus (steamed fish). There are two types of fish to choose from: red snapper and ikan patin.

Enjoy the fish while they are piping hot from the steamer! Dress the fish with coriander and sauce (soy sauce or spicy bean sauce).

Pasta choices are spaghetti, fettuccine and penne. Available sauces are bolognese, marinara, and carbonara.

Shawarma

Shawarma is another crowd favorite. This Middle Eastern snack is prepared by roasting chicken on a vertical spit.

As the outer layer becomes cooked, chicken is sliced off the block and stuffed into chewy pita bread. Delicious!
