Embrace for an unforgettable iftar experience this Ramadan at M Resort & Hotel! The resort’s Destinasi Selera buffet dinner promises a curated selection of dishes that celebrates Malaysian culinary heritage under a festive banner.

The hotel lobby is very spacious, offering a stylish and welcoming first impression.

Fairway Coffee House is the all-day dining outlet of the resort. This restaurant is where Destinasi Selera buffet dinner is served.

The restaurant embraces wooden elements reminiscent of an enchanted forest. Tree branches adorn the ceiling, while wooden floor and partitions contribute to the restaurant’s tranquil ambiance.

In line with the upcoming festivities, the restaurant is decorated with a myriad of ornaments.

A private dining room affords patrons with extra privacy should they choose so.

The key architect behind the Destinasi Selera buffet dinner menu is Chef Effendi, the Chef De Cuisine of Fairway.

Outdoor Food Stalls
Spanning both indoor food counters and al fresco food stalls, the buffet menu is crafted to cover the full spectrum of palate. Let’s begin by exploring the food stalls just outside the restaurant. This is where most action takes place.

Kambing Bakar Station
Kambing Bakar is the most prominent attraction here. The sight of golden-brown roasted lamb with glistening juice is enough to whet any appetite.

M Resort Lamb Briyani pairs well with Kambing Bakar. Flavored with fragrant spices, the rice dish is very easy on the mouth.

Arabic Rice Stall
Chicken Kabsa is another noteworthy rice dish. Savory chicken and spices impart soothing flavors onto the rice. The dish is topped with sultanas, cashew nuts, pomegranate and eggs to provide a medley of flavors.

Bakar-Bakar Seafood Station
M Resort & Hotel takes pride in its grilled seafood action stall. Watch as the chef expertly cooks marine delicacies on the hot plate.

The secret to sumptuous grilled seafood is the use of a special sauce. The sauce is pungent and has a hint of sweetness. The recipe is a closely guarded secret!

There are several dipping sauces to go with grilled seafood: sambal kicap (spicy soy sauce), green chili sauce, air asam (tamarind sauce) and Thai chili sauce. Which is your favorite condiment?

Satay Station
Satay is customarily eaten with kuah kacang (peanut sauce), nasi impit (pressed rice), cucumbers and onions.

Lemang Stall
Lemang and Ketupat come in several varieties. They are best enjoyed with Rendang and Serunding (meat floss).

Sup Belanga Stall
Warm your soul with hearty soups prepared in large “belanga” pots. Soup choices are Sup Gearbox (beef bone soup), Sup Perut (beef tripe soup), Sup Keting (beef tendon soup), Sup Ekor (oxtail soup) and Sup Kambing (mutton soup). Of course, you can also mix and match as you see fit!

Live Wok Station
The rhythmic clatter of woks draws us to the Live Wok Station. Upon arrival, the tantalizing scent of stir-fried noodles fills the air. This station is where Mee Goreng, Fried Kuey Teow and Fried Loh Shu Fun are prepared. We cannot recommend the Fried Loh Shu Fun Goreng highly enough!

Burger Stall
It is hard to miss the hawker-style burger stall here. Juicy chicken and beef patties sizzle on the griddle!

Shawarma Stall
As chicken becomes cooked, it is shaved off the block and stuffed into pita bread.

Appam Balik Stall
Appam Balik comes in two version: classic and chocolate.

The chocolate version is highly recommended. The cocoa taste is prominent but not too sweet.

ABC Stall
Malaysia’s favorite dessert is served here. There are a dozen toppings to choose from. Too confusing? Just let the chef prepare a bowl for you!

Fruits Stall
Salak (snake fruit), longan and nangka (jackfruit) are clear favorites here.

You should try some double-boiled herbal soup from the steamer. This evening, the kitchen prepared two types: Lotus Root Herbal Chicken Soup (comes with red dates) and White Radish Herbal Seafood Soup (comes with dried cuttlefish).

The noodles station tonight offers Nyonya Asam Laksa, Nyonya Curry Noodles and Lok Lok. The actual choices may vary from day to day.

Diners can choose from a variety of ingredients such as chicken, prawns, cockles, fish balls and vegetables.

Western Cuisine

The pasta station earns a well-deserved thumbs-up for its innovative fusion dishes: Fettuccine Rendang and Penne Masak Lemak.

Feel free to add cheese powder if you prefer your pasta dish to be creamier.

The pizzas are also infused with Asian flavors. Have you tried the Chicken Satay Pizza and Sambal Ikan Bilis Pizza?

Japanese Cuisine
The Japanese section offers a variety of sushi rolls. They come with traditional condiments like shoyu, wasabi and gari shoga.

Desserts & Beverages
At the conclusion of your meal, head over to the desserts section where you can indulge in decadent sweets like Malay kuih and French pastries.
