Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade has 213 guestrooms, divided into six room categories and suite. Each room type is distinguished by the level it is located at (which affords a different view of the city) and amenities it comes with.
Our room type is the Privilege Luxe Room. Its centerpiece is a queen-size Great Bed, which is exclusively designed for Mercure Hotels. Meanwhile, a large painting as the backdrop enhances the classic ambience of the room.
Across the bedroom is a large flat-screen television. The wide variety of TV channels provides endless entertainment throughout our stay.

If you prefer to dine indoors, head over to the M Dining @ Lobby Lounge. Besides offering an à la carte menu, the eatery also serves espresso-based coffee from Starbucks.

The Lobby Lounge is open from 9:00am to 9:00pm, making it a delightful place to relax and rejuvenate after a walking tour.
One of the signature dishes on the menu is the Chorak Mega Chicken Burger. Instead of using minced chicken, the patty consists of a grilled chicken cutlet! The juicy cutlet is sandwiched in a sesame bun and served with French fries.
Another recommended choice is Nasi Goreng Istimewa. The fried rice comes with a generous portion of crispy fried chicken, otak-otak (spicy fish cake), fried egg and crackers. Every bite is bursting with contrasting textures and flavors!
Should you prefer something light, we recommend the Chicken & Beef Satay. Marinated with turmeric and other spices, the skewered meats are grilled to golden perfection. Satay is usually enjoyed with nasi impit (pressed rice), onions, cucumber and peanut sauce.
The Cheesy Curry Burger is the latest entry to the menu. This comfort food comprises of fried chicken cutlet dressed in curry sauce, melted cheddar, charcoal bun and fries on the side. The crispy cutlet pairs well with the curry’s gentle warmth.
Chorak Restaurant
Chorak Restaurant on Level 8 is the all-day dining outlet of Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade. For in-house guests, breakfast is served between 6:30am and 10:30am.
The restaurant’s decor is reminiscent of a guesthouse of yesteryears. On the shelves, each vintage ornament tells a story of a bygone era.
While having breakfast, take a moment to appreciate the intricate Peranakan-style floor tiles throughout the buffet and dining area.
The breakfast spread covers Asian and Western dishes. With a wide variety to choose from, there is definitely something to satisfy every craving.
MICE
For meetings and events, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade offers conference rooms of varying sizes.
Each room is equipped with projectors and LCD display screens. Several of these rooms can be combined to accommodate up to 80 people in a banquet setting.
