With Mid-Autumn Festival over the horizon, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur launches its 2025 Mid-Autumn mooncake collection this evening. This celebration of timeless elegance and culinary artistry is unveiled at the hotel’s Garden Room.

This year’s mooncake selections are curated by Chinese Executive Chef Keith Yeap, who recently returned from a decorated posting in Shangri-La Jeddah. Chef Keith takes inspiration from the peony’s symbolism of prosperity, honor and enduring bonds. More than festive treats, each mooncake carries a deeper meaning of familial kinship and friendship.

Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is rolling out its mooncake collection early this year so that its patrons can take advantage of early bird prices. This limited-time opportunity allows individuals and corporate clients to secure Shangri-La’s exquisite mooncakes at special rates.

Customers may choose any four premium baked mooncakes (160g each). There are eight flavors to choose from. Our favorite mooncake is the one with Red Bean Paste with 40-Year-Old Tangerine Peel. Unlike regular red bean paste, this recipe perfectly balances the mellow sweetness of red beans with deep notes of aged citrus peel.
