Festive Dining Schedule at Lai Po Heen
16 February 2026 • Chinese New Year Eve > Special set menu will be served over two dinner seatings:
- First Seating: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- Second Seating: 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
17, 18, 21, 22 February & 1 March 2026 > Lunch service will be offered in two sessions:
- First Session: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Second Session: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Standard Dining Hours > On all other dates, the restaurant will observe its standard hours:
- Lunch: 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
- Dinner: 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Toss to Prosperity
A highlight of any Chinese New Year celebration is the prosperity toss, and Lai Po Heen elevates this time-honored tradition with six unique Yee Sang variations (available in half and full portions). These gourmet options feature delicacies such as lobster and caviar, two-head abalone, and soft-shell crab, with portions priced from RM 98 to RM 988 net.

For those visiting Lai Po Heen, the Traditional Roasted Peking Duck is an absolute must-try. Each slice carries a distinct “char” aroma that is immediately evident from the very first bite.

The experience is perfected when the crispy duck skin is wrapped in a soft, delicate crepe alongside refreshing vegetables and savory sauces. This combination creates a multi-layered profile that introduces new textures without ever losing that authentic, robust roasted flavor.

八宝聚财鸭 | 传统糯米八宝鸭 Eight Treasure Braised Duck
Prepared using traditional methods, this masterpiece features a duck that is deboned and stuffed with a rich medley of glutinous rice, lotus seeds, mushrooms, dried shrimp, Chinese ham, black fungus and scallops. The entire process takes over six hours of preparation and slow-braised to perfection, the dish offers a harmonious blend of textures that melt in the mouth.

The restaurant’s signature 招财进宝盆菜 Treasure Pots offer a feast of premium ingredients, including six-head Australian abalone, Japanese dried scallops, and fish maw. The CNY Treasure Pot (for 6 persons) is priced from RM 1,688 net, while the CNY Supreme Treasure Pot (for 6 persons) starts at RM 2,688 net. Guests who confirm their orders by 31 January 2026 can enjoy early bird pricing, with the Treasure Pot starting at RM 1,388 net and the Supreme version at RM 2,588 net, which includes a complimentary Chef’s Yee Sang. The restaurant recommends ordering 48 hours in advance for the chefs to prepare the Treasure Pot.
