To herald the arrival of the Year of the Horse, One World Hotel recently hosted an exclusive preview of its refined 2026 Chinese New Year dining experience at the award-winning Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant.

Under the theme “骏马迎春宴” (Jun Ma Ying Chun Yan), Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant offers a diverse range of festive set menus available for lunch and dinner from now until 3 March 2026.

Options include the Auspicious Set starting at RM1,688 nett for six people, the chef recommended Wealthy Set, the grand Blessings Set, and a specialized Titanium Individual Set for more intimate dining. For those seeking meat-free options, a dedicated Vegetarian Set is also available.

The auspicious Yee Sang platters are designed to bring prosperity and joy to every reunion, whether you are hosting at the restaurant or in the comfort of your home. For those seeking a touch of luxury, the Prosperity Salmon with Black Caviar & Soft-Shell Crab Rainbow Yee Sang (三文鱼配黑鱼子与软壳蟹鱼生) is a standout choice, priced at RM288 nett for a full portion or RM148 nett for a half portion.

The centerpiece of this year’s celebration is the Wealthy Set (骏马迎春宴). Priced at RM 2,399 nett for 10 pax or RM 2,099 nett for 6 pax, this exquisite 11-course menu is specifically recommended by Chef Vincent for its blend of premium ingredients and sophisticated techniques.

This vibrant and uplifting starter elevates the traditional prosperity toss with the addition of Black Caviar and Soft-Shell Crab.

Diners can look forward to comforting yet luxurious dishes such as the Double-Boiled Abalone Soup with Free-Range Chicken & Cordyceps Flower.

Fish 渔家蒸沙巴红斑鱼

The Fisherman’s Village-Style Steamed Sabah Red Grouper (渔家蒸沙巴红斑鱼) was specifically selected by Chef Vincent for its delicate flesh and natural sweetness.

This particular preparation is known as “village style” because the condiments and ingredients used for steaming are traditional staples easily sourced in local villages, emphasizing a rustic and authentic flavor profile.

A sophisticated contrast of textures is found in the Oven-Roasted Chicken served with Chicken Roulade 香烤烧鸡拼鸡卷, a duo-style dish that showcases both classic roasting and modern culinary craftsmanship.

Representing a classic symbol of wealth, the Braised 10-Head Abalone, Bean Curd & Sea Moss with Garden Greens (十头鲍鱼豆筋发财蔬香园) brings a sense of tradition and good fortune to the celebratory table.

For a fragrant seafood highlight, the Pan-Fried Tiger Prawns with Cereals, Bird’s Eye Chilli & Curry Leaves 香煎咖香麦片虎虾 nicely balances crunchy cereals with the aromatic heat of curry leaves.

The Chef’s Signature Golden Fried Rice with Sakura Shrimp (名厨黄金樱花虾炒饭) serves as a comforting staple, featuring fluffy grains tossed with savory, crispy Sakura shrimp.

Desserts 金玉团圆芝麻球伴香兰甜薯年糕

The feast concludes on a sweet note with the Golden Sesame Ball served with Sweet Potato Pandan Nian Gao (金玉团圆芝麻球伴香兰甜薯年糕), a handcrafted specialty that brings the celebratory meal to a satisfying close.

Dessert 龟苓膏伴菊花雪葩

What we loved the most was the innovative Traditional Glass Jelly served with Chrysanthemum Sorbet 龟苓膏伴菊花雪葩. It was our first time trying a sorbet that captured the full-bodied, floral taste of chrysanthemum so perfectly. This refreshing pairing is highly recommended as a light and unique palate cleanser after a rich festive feast.
