Starting this month, M World Hotel offers a seafood culinary journey from Bangkok to Hong Kong through the Grand Thai x Cantonese Seafood Buffet.

Served at Indulge Coffee House, the menu highlights traditional and popular dishes from both cuisines.

An iced seafood display sets the tone with rare buffet luxuries, including Japanese scallops, baby abalones, and chilled Canadian snow crab legs.

Equally enticing are the yabbies, tiger prawns, and Fine de Claire oysters, served as they are or with Thai-style dip and cocktail sauce.

At the Japanese counter, sashimi lovers can dig into freshly sliced cuts of salmon, tuna, butterfish, and octopus.

Signature live interactive stations introduce Cantonese wok cooking and authentic street food artistry directly to the dining room. Simply pick your ingredients, and the chef prepares them on the spot.

Guests can enjoy Wok-Fried Beef Slices with Ginger & Spring Onion, tossed with fragrant aromatics for a classic Cantonese flavor profile.

Seafood lovers can opt for Stir-Fried Tiger Prawn with XO Sauce, where tiger prawns are tossed in an intensely savory dried-seafood chili glaze.

The chef also prepares Wok-Fried Scallops with Asparagus, pairing juicy morsels of scallops with fresh green spears in a delicate stir-fry. Highly recommended!

Rounding out the cooked-to-order offerings is Sweet Chili Sauce with Squid. This dish brings together squid rings tossed in a vibrant glaze that balances gentle heat with sweet, tangy notes.

Another staple of Cantonese dining comes in traditional bamboo baskets steaming an assortment of delicate dim sum.

Complementing the steamed items, the evening lineup includes deep-fried dim sum specialties like Yam Puffs and Prawn Beancurd Rolls.

Let’s savor a hot bowl of Seafood & Crab Meat Soup before approaching the lively Thai cooking station.

A highlight of the menu is the live station serving Tomyum River Prawns, featuring large prawns simmered in a clay pot with spicy, aromatic broth.

The broth strikes a balance of sweet, sour, and spicy notes and draws out the deep umami of the fresh prawn.

Beef Massaman brings together Indian spice traditions and classic Thai flavors in a slow-simmered curry.

The curry is prepared from coconut milk and is infused with warm spices. Beef chunks are braised until tender.

Prepared fresh upon request, Som Tam embodies the authentic, vibrant energy of Thai street food.

More highlights await at the live grilling station featuring various meats and seafood.

The live selection offers wagyu striploin, lamb rack, salmon, squid, tiger prawns, and satays.

The spread also includes a variety of traditional Thai salads featuring sour, spicy, and savory dressings.

This is followed by classic hot dishes that are staples in authentic Thai restaurants.

The focus then shifts to classic Cantonese hot dishes.

Finally, a selection of traditional and modern desserts provides a concluding course.

Diners can assemble their own Thai desserts such as Mango Sticky Rice and Tub Tim Krob.
