If you are looking for good dim sum at an affordable price, it’s time to make your way to this 5-star hotel’s Chinese restaurant – The Emperor. We ventured there for their sumptuous Dim Sum Brunch, and it’s Muslim-friendly too!

Grand Ambiance & A Hint of Nostalgia
As we entered, the restaurant welcomed us with its spacious elegance. The vintage-inspired decor, complete with a small bridge and plum blossom trees, set the tone for a charming experience.

Chinese Dim Sum & Deep-Fried Delights

The Dim Sum Brunch offered an array of choices. If you opt for à la carte, your dim sum will be served according to your selection. But if you go for the buffet option, you’ll have the pleasure of handpicking your favorite steaming delicacies right from the dim sum trolley.

And let’s not forget the deep-fried goodies! They’re remarkably crispy yet not greasy. A must-try is their yam puffs, perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly flavorful on the inside.

A Tableful of Delights!

Appetizers, Stir-Fries & More

The brunch spread was a sight to behold, with an assortment of dishes that catered to every palate. We couldn’t resist sampling the Peking Duck Roll – tender duck slices topped with sweet hoisin sauce and fresh spring onions, all wrapped in a thin pancake.

Crispy Fish with Thai Mango Salad & Crispy Prawn with Coconut Shredded Buttermilk

Roasted Chicken & Roasted Duck

Appetizers, Congee, & Soups

Apart from the main spread, there were other categories of food to explore. However, with our focus on dim sum, we had to limit our exploration of these sections. Nevertheless, we left room for a delightful selection of appetizers, refreshing congee, and a nourishing Double Boiled Chicken and Vegetable Soup.

With the Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, the dessert table featured a special treat – mooncakes! Alongside cakes and puddings, we savored these delicacies.

The chilled section offered tempting desserts such as Chilled Herbal Jelly with Honey Syrup, Almond Beancurd with Longan, and Chilled Longan Sea Coconut.

The beverage station provided coffee, tea, and teh tarik (with condensed milk). Adding a variety of Chinese teas would have been the cherry on top!
