If you choose to have dinner at Tosca Trattoria Italiana, enjoy the dazzling night lights of the neighboring i-City theme park. The slowly spinning Ferris wheel sets a romantic backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.

Let’s Start the Feast

In Italy, dinner (cena) is typically the largest and most important meal of the day. Let’s begin our dinner as the Romans do! Before the meals begin, we are served a complimentary basket of freshly baked Focaccia to build our appetite. Condiments are provided.

Antipasto: Gamberi Alla Bussara

The succulent tiger prawns take center stage in this starter dish.

Toasted ciabatta bread is also complemented by creamy bocconcini (mozzarella cheese balls).

Antipesto: Smoked Burrata Cheese

Cheese-lovers will also appreciate the next appetizer: Smoked Burrata Cheese. Burrata cheese, soft and creamy in the center, is infused with a subtle hint of smoky goodness. This adds a touch of intrigue to the flavor profile.

A sprinkle of pine nuts adds a delightful textural contrast, while a drizzle of balsamic vinegar completes the symphony of flavors.

Antipesto: Fritto Misto Di Mare

Right off the bat, the golden hue of the fried seafood (squid, tiger prawn, seabass and baby octopus) is visually appealing. Meanwhile, the dish is enhanced by lovely aroma of the curry-cinnamon spices and Lemon Garlic Aioli.

Zuppa: Zuppa Toscana

Tonight, the Chef de Cuisine Bill delights our culinary journey with white tomato soup. The velvety concoction is reduced from fresh tomatoes in 4:1 ratio. The resulting essence is mixed with cream and is immensely savory.

This is a cocktail version of Zuppa Toscana. The actual serving is different and comes in a proper bowl size.

Fredo: Bruschetta Romana

This classic Italian appetizer comprises of toasted sourdough bread topped with fresh basil pesto, creamy buffalo mozzarella, juicy tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. These ingredients balance each other elegantly, serving as the perfect way to whet one’s appetite.

Pasta: Spaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia

Also known as Squid Ink Spaghetti, this captivating Italian dish brings out the true flavors of the sea.

The pasta carries subtle briny notes, evoking marine flavors that does not overwhelm the palate.

Tosca Trattoria Italiana takes a unique approach by adding baked Sabahan lobsters topped with refreshing pesto sauce.

Carne: Vitello Alla Milanese

This dish features premium veal (calf meat) imported from Italy. Veal is usually classified as white meat due to its light color and tender texture. The veal is marinated, tenderized, breaded, and then fried to golden perfection.

Accompanying the veal are potato fries infused with duck fat, rocket salad, lemon wedges and pink peppercorn sauce. The sauce provides subtle sweetness and floral notes, perfectly balancing the rich flavors of veal and fries.

Pollame: Pollo Al Tartufo

Moving on to poultry dishes, Pollo Al Tartufo is served this evening. The tender roasted chicken is paired with earthy truffles for a unique flavorful depth. Roasted veggies and garlic confit add a breath of freshness, while sweet balsamic dressing balances it all out. As for more adventurous diners, there is zesty black pepper sauce on the side.

Special On The Board: Tosca Seafood Grill

Tosca Seafood Grill offers a luxurious seafood adventure for two. Indulge in perfectly grilled salmon, sweet Hokkaido scallops, succulent tiger prawns and mouthwatering slipper lobster. Also included on the platter are crispy lobster arancini, creamy sauce vierge, tomato salsa and truffle mashed potatoes.

Pizza: Pizza Frutti Di Mare

Seafood toppings like tiger prawn, sea bass, squid and baby octopus steal the spotlight in this crowd favorite. Meanwhile, the crust is tender at the center but crispy along the edges. Topped with fresh arugula, this seafood pizza is meant to be shared around the table.

Dolci: Tiramisu Affogato

Savoiardi (also called ladyfingers) are soaked in freshly brewed espresso, infusing them with a bold coffee flavor. Adding a touch of luxury is mascarpone, a rich and creamy cheese sourced from Italy. Mascarpone cheese gives tiramisu its distinctive rich taste and velvety texture. Finally, fine cocoa powder is dusted on top to complete this traditional Italian dessert.

Instead of cutting the dessert into slices, Chef Bill presents a traditional Italian style serving of tiramisu. Tiramisu is scooped into a bowl and is topped with vanilla gelato and fresh strawberries. This personal touch gives a sense of warmth, making our dinner feel more like a gathering with kith and kin instead of a formal meal.

Behind The Scenes

Tosca Trattoria Italiana supports sustainability by sourcing 80% of its ingredients locally. The remaining 20% (for example Angus rib-eye beef, Gorgonzola cheese and Parmigiano Reggiano Parmesan wheels) are meticulously sourced from overseas to ensure that the dishes here remain faithful to Italian cookbooks.
