Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur invites everyone to experience the spirit of Ramadan with a special iftar dining experience. The theme this year is Sajian Warisan Nusantara. As the name implies, the feast highlights the rich culinary heritage of the Malay Archipelago.

Throughout Ramadan, buffet dinner is served each evening at Link All-Day Dining. The restaurant presents a spacious and comfortable environment for guests to dine in.

Al Fresco Flavors

The buffet at Wyndham Grand Bangsar is renowned for its extensive spread. Diners can enjoy the many food stalls at the outdoor section, which has a festive vibe reminiscent of a Ramadan bazaar.

Kambing Perap Panggang ‘Grand’

Kambing Perap Panggang ‘Grand’ is the main highlight this evening. The slow-roasted lamb is cooked over burning charcoal to give it a smoky crust. Meanwhile, the meat remains tender and juicy.

Several dipping sauces are provided: black pepper sauce, mushroom sauce, mustard sauce, mint sauce and jus.

Hidangan Kawah Warisan Desa

This section features a variety of traditional Malay dishes served in oversized “kawah” woks. Each dish offers a unique blend of spices, highlighting the clever use of aromatic ingredients in Malay cuisine.

Satay ‘Jalan Gasing’

Tender pieces of chicken and beef are marinated with turmeric and other spices. The meats are skewered and grilled over burning charcoal to impart a smoky aroma. Satay accompaniments are nasi impit, cucumbers, onions and kuah kacang.

The Portuguese influence on this dish is evident in the use of chili, garlic and onions. These aromatic spices provide a spicy kick of flavors that delight the taste buds.

Bubur Manisan & Puding ‘Lorong Ria’

Several types of Malay sweet porridges are served here. Among the choices are Bubur Jagung (corn kernel porridge), Bubur Pulut Hitam (black glutinous rice porridge), Bubur Kacang Merah (red bean porridge) and Bubur Kacang Hijau (mung bean porridge). In addition, Puding Roti Kismis & Badam (bread & butter pudding with raisins and almonds) is prepared too.

Dean’s Sweet Corner

Dean’s Sweet Corner offers a selection of cold desserts including the ever-popular Ais Batu Campur (ABC). This shaved ice dessert is typically topped with red beans, sweet corn, jelly noodles, rose syrup, evaporated milk and gula melaka (palm sugar). You may also add a scoop of ice cream on top!

Between dishes, allow yourself to cool down by having a glass of Coconut Vanilla Shake!
