This article is part of our Ramadan 2026 series.

Running from 20 February 2026 to 18 March 2026, Dorsett Kuala Lumpur serves Riuh Iftar Buffet for diners to break their fast after sunset. Served in Checkers Café, the buffet menu brings together over 120 selections in a lively atmosphere.

The buffet serves as a culinary journey through every corner of Malaysia, starting with the aromatic offerings of the Kambing Golek Madu Tualang Berempah.

By using honey sourced from tualang trees, this kambing golek offers a unique flavor profile that sets it apart from traditional roasted lamb preparations.

The Ayam Panggang Pasu Bersantan Serai Wangi is a major highlight this year. This rustic method is seldom used in city hotels nowadays.

Seafood lovers should definitely check out the Ikan Bakar Nyonya Nusantara station.

Grilled fish, tiger prawns and flower crabs are available too.

Of course, one should not to overlook the delicious satay too! Beef and chicken versions are available.

At the Santapan Station, guests can explore a curated collection of specialties inspired by home recipes.

A must-try is the Fish Head Curry with ladyfingers and young mango. When simmered in the curry, the mango becomes tender as it absorbs the rich gravy. What a nostalgic taste!

The Lutut Kambing Masak Lemak Cili Api offers a rich, spicy coconut gravy with a satisfying texture. This dish highlights the bold heat and creamy consistency that are hallmarks of authentic regional cooking.

Daging Tetel Assam Pedas Telok Mas delivers a robust and zesty kick that is a staple of Melaka-style cooking. These dishes highlight the diversity of Malaysian regional cuisine and bring the comforting taste of a home-cooked meal to the heart of the city.

The anticipation continues building up at the Noodle Counter.

The type of soup varies from day to day. Examples are Laksa Johor, Assam Laksa Utara and Sarawak Laksa.
